Who Would Win, Goku or Superman?

This argument is usually based on ones personal loyalty to one character or the other. There is so much fan art determining the outcome of the battle.My boyfriend and I often argue this as well. He maintains Superman. While I, of course, place my dime on Goku! He is the obvious choice, with his array of powers and special abilities. So what if he is the 'man of steel' he couldn't touch Goku, I'm just Sayian! Sorry, I could not resist!  While I am slightly bias because I am more of a DBZ fan than a DC Comic fan, I still believe my opinion to be the correct answer.

Goku clearly has more techniques and is more powerful with his many transformations. His ability to use instant transmission and just grab some kryptonite is Superman's disadvantage. However, Goku's downfall could be his kindness. On the cusp of defeat Superman could beg for forgiveness and speak of change and Goku would believe him, giving him his second chance.

There are many different sites that will explain ( in much more detail than I did)  the logic of who would win and give all the reasons why. There are you tube videos explaining superman and blogs about Goku winning. This debate is one being constantly argued. If you type this question into Google, you will get about 100,000 responses just in web links, not including videos and pictures.

This is just one of many of the "proven" formulas concluding the defeat of one the challengers.

I must say one last thing about this topic before you set out on your journey for more details about this debate.  That nothing about this debate even matters because both protect the earth and neither of them would ever want to fight against each other.
