Bio: Twin brothers Kaoru and Hikaru have lived a life of self-imposed seclusion, building walls around their hearts. The girls at Ouran Academy drool over the twins for their tender displays of brotherly love. One word about there personalities is "dry." Very avid about the things they are interested in but quite apathetic towards things they are not.

Brotherly Love 

Hikaru is older than Kaoru, but of course just barley and even though they are twins Kaoru seems to be more mature when it comes to relationships, especially that concerning Haruhi. When Hikaru gets upset and jealous of Haruhi's old friends, Kaoru is the one who tells him that he shouldn't have acted that way, and tries to help him learn to interact better with people.
Haruhi is of course a very special person to both of the twins. She is the first person who could not only tell them apart but could explain there differences. This upset the boys, because they have tried for so long to keep all people out and yet she could still see through them. Ever since the boys were young they played the "which one is Hikaru game" trying to test people to see if they could really tell them apart. Of course people never could and they pushed deeper into there little world of seclusion.
They came to be apart of the Host Club when Tamaki Suoh sought them out to be members. At the time they were in middle school and were still the only two in there world. Everyone else was and to some extent still is just toys for them to play with.

Because there mother is one of the top fashion designers in Japan (and possibly the world) the twins are always dressed stylishly. The boys take after there mothers eye for design and are always helping pick out the costumes for the club as well as offering Haruhi fashion tips and replacing her clothing with what they think she should wear ( so super girlie things).
